Pretty good plate race today. By the end of the race there were very few chase contenders still rolling. Talladega raceway held true to its name and tore up the chase field.

Big day! Parade for baby, Georgia game, race under the lights at Lows motor speedway. Kurt Bush is the pole sitter with Dave Blaney on the outside.

Lows Motor Speedway will be in the pink tonight. In recognition of Breast Cancer Awareness month, Elliot Sadler, Kyle Bush and Bobby Labonte will be racin in pink. Sadler said, ""To run that logo on the car means a lot to me. It means more than just pink lettering and stickers, it symbolizes a cause. A cause we are racing for," he added. Sadler, who always drives with a pink ribbon decal above the door of his No. 19 Gillett Evernham Motorsports Dodge, found support through his sponsor Stanley Tools in order to create the special pink car."

Jimmie Johnson moved one race closer to earning another championship.

Well, the race is getting hotter! Carl Edwards is closing in on Jimmie Johnson. After winning the race today Carl is only 106 (unofficial) points behind JJ.

An exciting weekend for NASCAR. Will Jimmie Johnson have a three-peat? We shall see tomorrow! I'm sure Homestead is swamped and buzzing with the pending races.
