I agree with you as well, I guess I never had you in a certain party, but I did not see you going for McCain. Very happy you are and I look forward to your blogs as the upcoming election comes closer. I had a black girl from Atlanta tell me that she thought Obama is the anti-christ, that was enough to scare the heck out of me. Yep! That would put my pony back in the stable! Alright, you might be a country girl if you say "That would put my pony back in the stable" That is funny!

Well, there's just no gettin around it I am country with a great ole big K.
Country, redneck, hillbilly, and just about any other vernacular usage you can think of I've been called and will admit to most of them. ;D
Just so folks don't think that I am above my raising, I am technically an educated farm girl.

I agree with Taylor, I have never voted for the party. I have always voted for the person, it does not matter democratic or republican.

I think that anyone voting solely on party line this day and time would be a miss. Holding true to the party line was an appropriate path in my grand-daddy's day, as politicians were a bit more honest. They were also often held accountable by really steadfast men in funny little hats.
Today even if you vote for the person you can't be certain that they will be true to their word because there is no accountability.

I thought that she was very exact, deliberate, and STRONG! I also thought that rather than coming off as a politician, she spoke with the conviction of a "soccer mom". Unless something happens between now and November I think that she will win McCain the election.

I actually like Palin more than McCain! And the fact that she's good looking helps even more. ;D

I was unsure about what to do come election day. Now I'm sure. I'm voting McCain-Palin.
Taylor, what a concise, well written piece. I look forward to your writings on this very important matter.

I was not as impressed with McCain as I was with Palin. I think that she makes the ticket complete and will be what it takes to seal the deal for McCain. It seems that now Obama is trying to get Hillary on board to secure the female votes.

He has her on board already, but I think Palin is going to be powerful in the fact that she is just like us. Clinton is nothing like us, nor can she relate to us.

I totally agree! She is the all American mom, our best friend, our next door neighbor and our sister. Hillary has always been portrayed and presented herself as a stuffed shirt, as unapproachable, as an ice princess.
Go Sara!
