I have about 52 gallons that can be anybody's if the price is right. We pulled 52 gallons from 22 supers of honey, I still have 80+ supers left to pull and extract. Which will have to be pretty soon because Sourwood season starts in July. Using glass jars at the upcoming show but ordering plastic tomorrow. Remember honey is considered a solid becuase of it's density, not a liquid. Wow, that's amazing. No wonder you have so much energy working with all that honey. Wildflower is my favorite. Guess I'll need some to add to my boxes to MI. Although, hubby might be driving up there soon.

Cucumber plants are starting to blossom... beans have climbed to over 6' tall and little blossom buds are showing up all over... won't be long and we'll be having lots of fresh veggies from our "pot" garden!

Mr. Cedars had toast with wildflower honey this am, he really loves that stuff! I'll have to get some when on my next visit!

Pulled more supers last night and haven't even made a dent in it.
Had to order more bottles and lids.
Now I have to find a place to store it.

Has anyone ever eaten squash blossoms? My Gma used to make them every summer that we came home, I don't remember eating very much squash, just the blossoms.

I've never heard of eating the blossoms. Were they good? I love squash patties and casserole.

I have heard of it but never had any.
Well knowing my herbs paid off last night. A friend tried to give grumpy some Willow Bark for his headache. They handed the bottle to me and I said "He just said he can't take aspirin. Aspirin is made from Willow Bark." They agreed and were surprised that I knew that.
I am smarter than I look, I guess.

You take the blossom that you pick early in the am, rinse it, then cut it open to lay flat. Dip in egg and seasoned flour, fry in hot grease. Mmmm, kinda tastes like chikin.

I have heard that if Aspirin was "invented" today, because it is so strong you would need a prescription for it.
