LOL! I did put my coffee grounds in a tuperware dish & told hubby not to throw them out! Can I just dump them on the soil without digging?!!!

NO WAY!!!
Put them in a old milk jug or something you can add water to. If you put them on there straight it might burn the plant.
What I do is put my grounds in a milk jug and add about 1/2 - 3/4's full of water. Add some more grounds through the week and then when it's full, shake it up really good and pour it on the dirt around the plants.
Or water them down everyday and add them.
I will be making liquid gold this spring. I will take homemade compost mix and add water to it, and let it sit for a couple of days and then pour it into my sprayer for my plants.

OMG! My BIL gave me some of that starter crud at x-mas time & told me to use it within 2 weeks. I just had to laugh at him & think "yeah, right sweetie, I'm making fresh bread"!!! I don't even eat the stuff before it molds.

OK here's another one.
I made hummingbird food, put it into a milk jug and marked don't drink on it.
About 3 days later I went to get it to fill up my feeders and it was gone. After investigating I found out Grumpy thought it was red kool-aid and drank it. He said he thought it was really, really sweet and no owonder he was flying around.
He said he never paid attention to what I wrote on it.
SIlly man,

My neighbor gave me a small pineapple top and 3 avocado pits last night. Guess I will be experimenting.

Mr Cedar always takes the tops of pineapples and puts them into the pineapple patch by the driveway, and we always get pineapples from them. We have some plants that are over 10 years old.

I can't see the point of cleaning up your yard today. The wind is blowing so hard, everything is flying around.

OK got my 3 avocado seeds in dirt. 2 at home and 1 in a window at work.
It seems that the window at work is perfect for plant growing, I have better luck there than at home. May have to move all of my indoor plants from home to work.
