Kewl beans, WOM... go get that "public official." We sure don't need such trash! Its not quite THAT interesting. That's law enforcement work. Our job is more like reconstructing finances to separate the legally obtained from the otherwise ... and in this case all I can say about it is that there are asset seizures and we work for a major creditor.

Paper trails can be one of the most difficult parts of an investigation. I took a class on that back in the dark ages and have a small idea of what you have to go through to decipher which funds an assets are which! I thought you were in law enforcement, too...

just a note... UCBI stock which was trading at around $35 a share just over a year ago is trading today at just over $9 per share (of course insiders can still buy below market)
For the rest of us, if you owned $1000 worth of UCBI stock in March/April 2007, you would have lost almost $750 of it in just over a year. If it loses a mere one-third as much this year as last it will be absolutely worthless by year end. If its in your IRA or tax deferred retirement savings you won't even get the benefit of a tax write-off for it.

I'm glad that I don't have UCB stock, the only one that I wish I would've bought is in the oil industry.

Corn and Hay.
A round bale of hay sells for $40 a bale.
People are plowing under their other crops to plant corn. Corn is actually in a lot of foods we eat and now it's being used for vehicles.
