I heard the couple that own Comfort Cafe no longer own Muffy's Mtn Burgers?
I have heard that Copperhead Lodge has a wonderful seafood buffet on Friday evenings, but I don't know first hand.
I love Comfort Cafe & the Salad Lover's Salad from Grinds & Glazes. I also love Hole in the Wall's Eggs Benedict.
How is Fatz Cafe? Can't wait to try it!

Fatz is gooooooooooooooood avalanche. I love the soup and sandwiches at grinds and glazes, I haven't been there in a while though.

I've only been to Muffy's once. Figured the burgers must be good since that is what is on the sign. I haven't been back because I didn't think it was good at all.
Went to Fatz last weekend and it was good and the service it great!

We went to Fatz tonight & used our gift card we got for x-mas. It was yummy. I had a sirloin cooked to perfection.
The waiter could have been less talkfull, but he was just a bubbly guy!

I read on the door at "The Big Cheese" that they will now be open Sat's from 10:30-7:30!!! Yay!

I was told today that the Chevron at Gum Log & 129 has opened a little Cuban restaurant inside. It's supposed to be pretty good & authentic too. The northenders are really moving up!

That's right we are.
They have piggy bowls at Beavers store now. (that's is how us old timers refer to it)
I think it's called Nana's, but I don't remember.

Piggy bowls are bowls of rice (usually yellow) black beans, and roasted pork - at least where I come from!
