Ape said, "My wife and I met the Anderson's in a Laundromat and they became our Sunday school teachers. The church grew. The preacher had to build another church. Mr. Anderson committed adultery, divorced Mrs. Anderson, and married his young secretary that he had the affair with. Meantime, back at the Baptist Church...The church split because the preacher was accused of fondling women during his closed door counseling sessions".
Ape this sort of stuff is every where because Satan has confused everything to the point where he masqurades as "God" and folks don't know it.
If the "god" we follow an't big enough to keep us from sin he's the wrong one!
The Bible says, “Whosoever committeth sin transgresseth also the law: for sin is the transgression of the law” …Whosoever is born of God doth not commit sin; for his seed remaineth in him: and he cannot sin, because he is born of God” 1 JOHN 3:4,9
Wrong god Ape, Wrong God. Please Ape, Please, differentiate. He's there.
"Thou shall not commit adultery", is not an order, it is a "promise" All the "commandments" are promises of what happens to us when we follow the right God.
The god of this world has made them into "rules". When we see them as promises as to what kind of people we will become, we want them to happen to us. Following the right God insures that they will

Let me share this personal story. It's true. Just remembering it gives me confidence! I can guarantee it.
I taught school at a technical college for 26 years. The students all knew I was different. They knew I went to church on Saturday. A young man, a student in a different department, came by for a visit. We sat in my office and he told me how he’d come to an understanding about the Seventh Day Sabbath while in the military in Germany. He had made changes in his life. He remembered and honored the Sabbath. He was different too!
He told me he had a “true love” when he left to enter the service. She didn’t wait for him and found someone else. When he returned and was telling folks about the Seventh Day Sabbath, he gave bible studies to a young woman and wound up marrying her, though his mind was still on his “true love”.
At the place of his work another female let it be known she was interested in him. In her pursuit of him, they wound up in a car, in the woods, with most of their cloths off. He said, “we can’t do this, put your cloths on, we gotta’ go”. When he was telling me this, I thought about the Old Testament story of Joseph and Mrs. Potiphar
This young man was following the God of heaven and not the god of this world. His God was the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob. The same God Joseph followed. The promise from this God was, “Thou shall not commit adultery”. This young man honored the Sabbath. His God fulfilled his promise to him, just the same as he did for Joseph because he was the same God, he is the God of the Seventh day Sabbath.

Manape Research Go to www.whoisjesus-really.com/main.htmto reprint material... What about all the hypocrites I see who call themselves Christians? Print this www.greatcom.org/resources/toughquestions/Again, good question. Let us begin with the obvious. Jesus stated He would forgive all our sins now in this life, not perfect us here. Final perfection will come when we die (or Jesus returns at His predicted Second Coming, whichever comes first). However, in this life believers are exhorted to, "… not be conformed to the formers lusts which were yours in your ignorance, but like the Holy One Who called you, be holy yourselves in all your behavior; …" (1 Peter 1:14,15) Yes, there are hypocrites in the church. However, remember that the church is like a hospital for the spiritually wounded (and we all have the disease of sin). To be honest, one should expect to see less-than-perfect people in the church … the central issue is that they realize their sickness, come to Jesus to forgive them, and begin the work of striving daily with the Spirit’s help to lead to a more holy, non-hypocritical lifestyle. Furthermore, remember that many people who call themselves Christians are actually not. They are cultural Christians (for example, most people in their culture belong to a certain denomination or church), or pseudo-Christians (they have ‘prayed a prayer and ‘accepted’ Jesus as their Savior, but have never truly committed themselves to follow and obey Him), or social Christians (people who attend a church because it’s a ‘good and acceptable thing to do’). Like other so-called religious people, they follow a form of ‘churchianity’ rather than true ‘Christianity.’ All of these groups (and there are more) show a Christian façade, but are not truly born again by the Spirit of God. In the midst of suffering or persecution, their true colors will show. And Jesus said, "For whoever is ashamed of Me and My words in this adulterous and sinful generation, the Son of Man will also be ashamed of him when He comes in the glory of His Father with the holy angels." (Mark 8:38) The issue is not whether Christians fail ... they will! The issue is that they are forgiven (if they truly are born again) and in the process of becoming holy and righteous … and less hypocritical. Having said this, the question remains, "What will you do with the perfect, non-hypocritical Son of God?" If you turn from Christ, now knowing what you do, you should ask if you are demonstrating incredible hypocrisy yourself. (1 John. 4:2)

Sometimeman, thanks for your story. That's cool that you taught in tech school for 26 years. I couldn't deal with it. If you feel that you should worship God and keep it holy on Saturday, that's cool, too. God made us for fellowship and if you and a bunch of people want to join together with God on Saturday, GREAT! I just don't think God is going to hold it against us if we gather on the wrong day. As I have said, I think we should worship God every day and it just isn't on Saturday or Sunday. To me it is an individual thing to decide how people want to worship God. I think when we are personally trying to decide how to worship him and obey him, we need to look at the whole bible. Let's take baptism for example. I borrowed the following from www.greatcom.org/resources/toughquestions/tq1/default.htmThe Importance of Baptism The view of most evangelical Christian scholars is that salvation is by grace through faith alone. This is especially indicated by Ephesians 2:8-9, John 3:16, 1 John 5:1. It is important to understand that baptism is a result of salvation, not a cause. There are different baptism methods. They may include the sprinkling of water over the head of the professing believer or the total immersion of the person under water (Greek: "Baptismo" = to immerse). However, the procedure is not as important as the individual's understanding and motivation to seek baptism. Some cite Mark 16:16 as their proof text that baptism is necessary for salvation, but they only quote the first half of the verse and typically leave out the second half, which indicates the necessity of belief as being the prerequisite to the salvation issue. The way to resolve most problems pertaining to the issue of baptism is to look at the whole of Scripture. When we do, we find that there is absolutely nothing we can do as humans to earn salvation. Romans 6:23 tells us that salvation is a "free gift." Free means that there is nothing we can do to deserve it. On the other hand, baptism is something we choose to do. If baptism or any other human work or activity (such as going to church regularly, going on a pilgrimage or visiting a "holy site") contributed to our salvation, we could boast that we did something and contributed to our salvation. However, Scripture says that no one should boast before God Ephesians 2:8-9 . We come to Christ though grace by faith, and our public baptism brings glory and honor to God. Baptism is an act of obedience, not to obtain salvation, but because of it -- because we love Him and want to obey Him. The motivation to pursue baptism should originate from a desire to show to the world an outward demonstration of the person's decision as well as the inward work the Holy Spirit has already begun in us. An unsaved person would not likely want to be baptized, because he would not have the Holy Spirit indwelling him to prompt his desire to follow Christ in obedience (unless a sect or cult group has erroneously taught him or her otherwise.) The fact that one even wants to be baptized (being assured that only faith alone in Jesus Christ saves) is evidence that the Holy Spirit already indwells that person, a result of being born of the Spirit by faith alone. In the book of Acts, baptism is typically the outward response to coming to faith. It was seen as part of a process which includes: 1) hearing (or reading about) the gospel, 2) being convicted and led by the Holy Spirit to confess one's sins (Greek: "Homologeo" = to agree with, to speak the same), 3) coming to faith in Jesus Christ as Savior, 4) beginning the progress of growth (which includes repenting from known sin), 5) joining a group of believers or church fellowship, and 6) being baptized. The last two parts are where there are different opinions among believers or churches. Where some churches differ with what has been stated above chiefly centers on whether a person is saved if they have not been baptized (or if they have not been baptized the "right" way). In our understanding a person is saved when they put their faith in Christ. Of course, we all want them to join a church which exalts Christ and be baptized.

Sometimeman, I agree Mr. Anderson did follow the wrong god, the god of this world or the god of self. There are many gods, but only one name above all names. HIS name is Jesus. I hope Mr. Anderson came back to THE GOD. It is sad that those who point us toward GOD, often turn away from HIM.

Ape Let me tell you a story. I went to the Wal-mart and bought myself a $9.95 Bible CD. It has got bunches of bibles and concordances and stuff on it and when I got it all installed on my puter, I found out if I would call and let them charge my credit card $70 and they would give me a code and I could access 10 more volumes, dictionaries and such, all on the same CD! Well I found out I could do a bible search, Genesis to Revelation, for anything-just type in “george” or “Wilbur” something you knowed an’t in the bible just to see if it would find it. Man!, “Hit” find and in about a second and a half. The puter done went clear through the bible and said, “word not found” Well I thought, I done found me something helpful. So I remembered when Moses asked God who he was and I found out God told him his name. Now I got to studying this and I found God has a personal name he told Moses and it is ALL through out the bible. It’s every where, In lots of stories. Now the bible really comes alive when you know there’s more than one God, but you read his name in the story. Now Joshua led the people and they went against Jericho and God let the covalent bonds dissolve holding the material together in the mighty fortress walls of Jericho and they slumped into sand just like concrete would if it never had water on it. The rocks just turned into sand! Joshua knew God. He knew who he was. They whipped them. Now Joshua got old. He knew “his” sun was going down and he didn’t have long to live. But there was one thing he wanted before he died. He wanted it bad. More than anything. He had to get it done. So he called the people together. Now I want you to read what he told them. I put this thing in the puter, in the word processor, and I hit find/replace and I put God’s name every where it ought to be. Now you just read this and let God’s spirit talk to you so you know which is which. Who is your God? KJV Joshua 24:1-31 (edited to include God's name) 1 And Joshua gathered all the tribes of Israel to Shechem, and called for the elders of Israel, and for their heads, and for their judges, and for their officers; and they presented themselves before God. 2 And Joshua said unto all the people, Thus saith Yahweh, God (Elohim) of Israel, Your fathers dwelt on the other side of the flood in old time, even Terah, the father of Abraham, and the father of Nachor: and they served other gods. 3 And I took your father Abraham from the other side of the flood, and led him throughout all the land of Canaan, and multiplied his seed, and gave him Isaac. 4 And I gave unto Isaac Jacob and Esau: and I gave unto Esau mount Seir, to possess it; but Jacob and his children went down into Egypt. 5 I sent Moses also and Aaron, and I plagued Egypt, according to that which I did among them: and afterward I brought you out. 6 And I brought your fathers out of Egypt: and ye came unto the sea; and the Egyptians pursued after your fathers with chariots and horsemen unto the red sea. 7 And when they cried unto Yahweh, he put darkness between you and the Egyptians, and brought the sea upon them, and covered them; and your eyes have seen what I have done in Egypt: and ye dwelt in the wilderness a long season. 8 And I brought you into the land of the Amorites, which dwelt on the other side Jordan; and they fought with you: and I gave them into your hand, that ye might possess their land; and I destroyed them from before you. 9 Then Balak the son of Zippor, king of Moab, arose and warred against Israel, and sent and called Balaam the son of Beor to curse you: 10 But I would not hearken unto Balaam; therefore he blessed you still: so I delivered you out of his hand. 11 And ye went over Jordan, and came unto Jericho: and the men of Jericho fought against you, the Amorites, and the Perizzites, and the Canaanites, and the Hittites, and the Girgashites, the Hivites, and the Jebusites; and I delivered them into your hand. 12 And I sent the hornet before you, which drave them out from before you, even the two kings of the Amorites; but not with thy sword, nor with thy bow. 13 And I have given you a land for which ye did not labour, and cities which ye built not, and ye dwell in them; of the vineyards and oliveyards which ye planted not do ye eat. 14 Now therefore fear Yahweh, and serve him in sincerity and in truth: and put away the gods which your fathers served on the other side of the flood, and in Egypt; and serve ye Yahweh. 15 And if it seem evil unto you to serve Yahweh, choose you this day whom ye will serve; whether the gods which your fathers served that were on the other side of the flood, or the gods of the Amorites, in whose land ye dwell: but as for me and my house, we will serve Yahweh.16 And the people answered and said, God forbid that we should forsake Yahweh, to serve other gods; 17 For Yahweh our God, he it is that brought us up and our fathers out of the land of Egypt, from the house of bondage, and which did those great signs in our sight, and preserved us in all the way wherein we went, and among all the people through whom we passed: 18 And Yahweh drave out from before us all the people, even the Amorites which dwelt in the land: therefore will we also serve Yahweh; for he is our God. 19 And Joshua said unto the people, Ye cannot serve Yahweh: for he is an holy God; he is a jealous God; he will not forgive your transgressions nor your sins. 20 If ye forsake Yahweh, and serve strange gods, then he will turn and do you hurt, and consume you, after that he hath done you good. 21 And the people said unto Joshua, Nay; but we will serve Yahweh. 22 And Joshua said unto the people, Ye are witnesses against yourselves that ye have chosen you Yahweh, to serve him. And they said, We are witnesses. 23 Now therefore put away, said he, the strange gods which are among you, and incline your heart unto Yahweh, God of Israel. 24 And the people said unto Joshua, Yahweh our God will we serve, and his voice will we obey. 25 So Joshua made a covenant with the people that day, and set them a statute and an ordinance in Shechem. 26 And Joshua wrote these words in the book of the law of God, and took a great stone, and set it up there under an oak, that was by the sanctuary of Yahweh. 27 And Joshua said unto all the people, Behold, this stone shall be a witness unto us; for it hath heard all the words of Yahweh which he spake unto us: it shall be therefore a witness unto you, lest ye deny your God. 28 So Joshua let the people depart, every man unto his inheritance. 29 And it came to pass after these things, that Joshua the son of Nun, the servant of Yahweh, died, being an hundred and ten years old. 30 And they buried him in the border of his inheritance in Timnathserah, which is in mount Ephraim, on the north side of the hill of Gaash. 31 And Israel served Yahweh all the days of Joshua, and all the days of the elders that over lived Joshua, and which had known all the works of Yahweh, that he had done for Israel. Is Yahweh not the God who "so loved that he gave"? Do we not serve this God? Who do we worship?

MORE>>> worldnetdaily.com/news/article.asp?ARTICLE_ID=58015GLOBAL JIHAD Again! 10 Christians slaughteredover alleged Muhammad cartoon 61 injured, 9 churches burned, hundreds displaced after rumored 'insult' to IslamPosted: October 5, 2007 7:53 p.m. Eastern © 2007 WorldNetDaily.com Remains of burned Baptist church (Courtesy Compass Direct) Rampaging Muslims have killed 10 Christians, injured 61 others, destroyed nine churches and displaced more than 500 people in northern Nigeria, according to eyewitnesses – all because Muslim high school students claimed a Christian student had drawn a cartoon of Islam’s prophet, Muhammad, on the wall of the school’s mosque. The rampage occurred Sept. 28 in the town of Tudun Wada Dankadai, in Nigeria's northern state of Kano. According to Compass Direct News, which specializes in reporting on Christian persecution worldwide, there are 1,500 students at the high school, called Government College-Tudun Wada Dankadai, of which only 14 are Christians, and only seven of those actually live on campus. The Christian students at the school insist no one ever saw the alleged cartoon, and furthermore that no one in the tiny minority group of Christians would have dared such a feat, especially during Ramadan. "How can we take such a risk when we know that we are a minority and cannot stand [against] them?" Christian student Shehu Bawa told Compass. "This is a lie created to have a reason to attack us." Eighteen-year-old student Iliya Adamu told Compass he was getting ready to go to class when a group of Muslim students stormed into his dorm and began to beat him. (Story continues below) "I was surprised that they were beating me without telling what I did," Adamu said. "I asked to know what was happening, and they claimed that one Christian student had gone to their mosque to draw a cartoon of Muhammad. In spite of my denying the act, they kept beating me." Seeing the Muslim mob beating a Christian classmate named Sule La’azaru, Adamu ran to the principal's office for refuge, soon to be joined by the remaining Christian students there, according to the report. Despite the attempts by the Muslim teachers to stop the rampage, Muslim students began throwing stones at the Christian students through the window of the principal's office, wounding student Ayuba Wada in the head. "I was inside the office of our principal, with the others, when suddenly the Muslim students began throwing stones at us," Wada told Compass. "It was through this way that my head was broken. I was bleeding, and no help came as the situation became more riotous." Eventually, the rampaging Muslim students broke into the principal's office, but the principal's arrival saved Wada's life, while the other Christians holed up there managed to escape the mob. One of the Christian students, Shehu Bawa, told Compass his arrival on campus that morning was punctuated by shouts of "Allahu Akbar" (Allah is Great) "all over the school." In fact, he said, "The Muslim students were now attacking every Christian student on sight. Four of us ran into the office of the vice principal, but when it was finally broken into by the Muslim students, we ran out and escaped." What about the alleged cartoon of Muhammad, rumors of which instigated the attacks? "We suspect that either one of the Muslim students in the school did this to create an excuse for us to be attacked, or that a Muslim fanatic from the town might have done this to spark off a fight among Muslims and Christians," said Bawa. "How could we have done this when Muslim students are always around the mosque day and night because of the Ramadan?" The rampage spreads far and wide After attacking the few Christian students in their school, the rampaging Muslim students poured into the streets of Tudun Wada, joined now by other Muslims. For the next four hours, reports Compass, the growing mob burned down Christian churches, vandalized Christian property and murdered innocents. Among the churches burned were: St. Mary’s Catholic Church; St. George’s Anglican Church; Evangelical Church of West Africa; Assemblies of God Church; First Baptist Church; a Pentecostal church called the Mountain of Fire and Miracles Church; an African independent church, the Cherubim and Seraphim Church; and two other Pentecostal churches, The Chosen Bible Church and Deeper Life Bible Church. Children of murdered Christian (Courtesy Compass Direct) The 10 Christians murdered included: Augustine Odoh and his younger brother Cosmos Odoh, both members of St. Mary’s Catholic Church. Another Catholic, Joseph Eze, was also killed. When Compass filed its initial report, the corpses of the three Catholics were lying at the City Hospital in Kano city. Seven other Christians murdered were buried in a common grave Wednesday, but government workers did not allow relatives or church leaders to identify the corpses. The dozens of injured are being treated at the Assumpta Clinic, Nomansland in Sabon Gari area of Kano city. According to Musa Ahmadu Haruna, the priest of St. George’s Anglican Church, Tudun Wada Dankadai, whose church was burned, no Christian student in the school could have drawn an image of Muhammad. "None of these students is capable of drawing a cartoon on a mosque," he told Compass Direct. "That is a frame-up to find a reason to attack us." Another pastor, Rabiu Danbawa of the Evangelical Church of West Africa, said that upon hearing of the waves of attacks on Christians, he moved toward the town's center to see for himself what was transpiring. "I stood as they set fire on our churches one by one," he told Compas Direct. "There was nothing I could do," he said, adding, "I did not know the fate of my wife and my children." When he went to the local police station for help, Danbawa found the police turning away Christians who had run there to escape the attack. "We were told to leave, as our safety could not be guaranteed," he said, in tears, according to Compass Direct. "Women and children all scampered to the bush, only to be attacked by the Muslims who had already hid themselves in the bush awaiting their Christian prey." It wasn't until several days later that Danbawa found his wife and children safe. Accoroding to reports from Compass, Danbawa and his family are now refugees in Dogon Kawo village, along with other Christian victims. None have food or shelter, he said. Even Christian policemen were not immune, with about 30 officers and their families being attacked and their homes looted and set on fire. Last week's massacre comes in respose to a call in July by the Sultan of Sokoto, Abubakar III, to Muslims in northern Nigeria to rise against Christianity. Kano's state government has led the way in northern Nigeria for the implementation of sharia Islamic law. Mark Lipdo, director of the Stefanos Foundation, which ministers to persecuted Christians in Nigeria, told Compass he's shocked that the Nigerian government has done nothing to help the injured and displaced. "It is surprising that an overwhelming thing like this that has displaced thousands of Christians is not known to the Nigerian government," he said, noting that the government initially downplayed the mass rampage. "The government must act to check such unprovoked attacks against Christians." And Haruna of St. George’s Anglican Church said, "We are living under persecution in Kano state, and yet, we are being told that we are under a democratic government. Do Muslims really want us to co-exist together as a nation? I doubt so." As WND reported in May, Christians in Nigeria, who make up about half the population, fears the imposition of Islamic law throughout that nation. Indeed, as WND has reported, Muslim rioters in Nigeria in 2006 were incensed over cartoons of Muhammad published in Denmark, and more than 130 Christians in the Nigerian cities of Maiduguri and Onitsha were slaughtered. The reports documented six children burned to ashes in front of their father, according to Voice of the Martyrs. WND also has reported nearly 1,000 homes of Christians and many churches have been destroyed in these regions. "If you go around villages, you will see people missing one hand or one foot," explained Rev. Obiora Ike. "Do you think that's the result of an illness? That is the result of sharia law." More than 10,000 Christians have been martyred in the region since the Islamic law was imposed in the region in 1999, and Voice of the Martyrs has helped surviving family members through its Families of Martyrs Fund with Care Packs, Village Outreach packs and words of encouragement to believers who stand for their faith "amidst volatile, uncertain conditions."

Ape- There are times when I think you got sense.
Ape said "Sometimeman, the church is not into changing Islam or killing them"
The "Church", well-- maybe the "christians" are responsible for George Bush and the mess he's made. (I voted for him) Killing?--We don't have to do it direct and personal, Our military is killing them and has killed them. by the thousands.
Pastor John Hagee and the Christian Zionist of America support Israel, irregardless of the circumstances, "God blesses those who bless Israel", you know. And, Israel is best supported by killing Muslims. Smashing their houses with bulldozers, killing their children.
The Jewish lobby plays our government like an accomplished musician plays violin. Didn't you see what happened to the democrats after they took control of congress. Nancey Polosi did a complete change just as soon as she "Understood". Hillary Clinton has pledged to support the Zionist agenda and the Jew Bankers have pledged their support to her. George Bush has been giving her advice.
We would all like to live and let live Ape but, the forces that are in control are bent on a new world order and wars and killing to 'get er done.
Ape said, "How do biblical truths apply to your life?" I know you "trust in God" Ape, It's on every piece of money you got in your pocket but listen Ape, Listen to me now, Is his name Allah? I feel like you some times think his name ought to be "hallowed". I think discovering which God is which, is a biblical truth that applies to your life Ape. Saddle up Ape, you gotta ride.

Sometimeman, I do not know Allah. The Jewish and Christian faith is joined by The LORD is God; besides him there is not other... www.joinedtohashem.org/questions/questions.htmlQUESTION: Did the disciples and others understand that Yeshua was God in the flesh? What title did they call him other than Yeshua? ANSWER: The word MarYah was one of the names of God used in the biblical days. ‘Mar’ meaning Lord or Master and ‘Yah’ meaning singular God. YHWH is the plural while Yah is singular. First century Jews used MarYah outside of the synagogues to keep from using the Holy Name of God, YHWH. The Jews in Babylon also call YHWH "MarYah"--because when they translated the Tanakh from Hebrew into Aramaic, they had MarYah replace YHWH almost 7000 times. Therefore, the usage is proper. If I had an Aramaic font available on this website you could go back to the original manuscripts and see it for yourself all over the Tanakh where it is used. So now that you have had some time to comprehend that ‘the LORD’ and ‘the Lord’ are the same being, let’s look at some verses that call Yeshua ‘MarYah’ a name undisputedly used ONLY for God. Now into the Peshitta (Aramaic) Gospels the title for Yeshua was also MarYah! In the verse below you can read word for word as transcribed, the description of the Son of God, the son of YHWH, called by the Name reserved for the Almighty. It’s a little hard to read so take your time. Luke 2:11,12 “is born to you for today the Saviour who is MarYah the Messiah in the city of David (12) and this is to you a sign, will find you an infant who is wrapped in swaddling clothes and lying in a manger.” Now you see MarYah is lying in a manger! A baby! The writers of the Apostolic Books and the transcribers all knew WHO and WHAT they were writing about! HaShem, The Holy One, as the baby, Yeshua! Matt. 22:43-45 He said to them, “Then how David in the spirit calls him ‘MarYah’, saying: (44) ‘for that said MarYah to my Mar “sit you at my right hand until I place your enemies under your feet”’? (45) If therefore David calls him MarYah how his son is he?” You can continue your study of the word MarYah by reading the Peshitta in full at the following web address: www.peshitta.org , but let’s finish with the last verse. Acts 10:36 For MarYah sent the word to the children of Israel preaching peace and tranquility by Yeshua; he is the MarYah of all. Amen!

HA SHEM= THE NAME
Ape wrote, "because when they translated the Tanakh from Hebrew into Aramaic, they had MarYah replace YHWH almost 7000 times. Therefore, the usage is proper."
Mister Ape, If I tell a lie over 7000 times, does that make it "proper" ?
Moses asked him who he was. He said his name was YHWH. I tend to believe he knows who he is so, YHWH is what I believe.
YHWH is "the name" I am joined to.

Yes, YHWH is the name for LORD-GOD. YHWH is the plural while Yah is singular. First century Jews used MarYah outside of the synagogues to keep from using the Holy Name of God, YHWH.
HA SHEM = YHWH = MARYAH = YESUA = JESUS = GOD = THE LORD
HA SHEM is not Allah. Islam teaches Jesus was a profit, teacher only, not GOD. Salvation for Islam is self, not God.

Question: The Tanakh does not agree with the New Testament messiah, because the NT does away with Torah and sacrifices forever! (Heb 7:27 and Heb 10:10-14)
Answer: What the NT teaches is that sanctification for ritual purposes alone is not real. Look at Jeremiah 9. The strong pronouncement here is that sacrifices/rituals for their own sake are wrong. We can see as we read about Cain and Abel, that Cain’s sacrifice was fine but his focus was wrong. If we follow the Tahahk we can see that Hashem Himself has a progressive revelation when it came to sacrifice and offerings. In Isaiah 1:11, "Bring me no more vain oblations," (Hosea 6:6) "I desire mercy not sacrifice". The people had been lulled into a false sense of security by bring daily and weekly sacrifices to the temple and Hashem said their hearts were wrong. If you study Galatians, you will see the message is that Abraham believed Hashem through faith, and that was how justification came, not from ritual, that is Saul's point. Has sacrifices been ‘done away with’ for the remission of sin? Yes! The death of Yeshua (as you can read in last week’s question) fulfilled the need for the death of animals for the atonement for sin. Notice I did not say there would not be animal sacrifice in the future. Isaiah says there will be killing of animals again in the Millennial Reign. At that time the shedding of blood will be like a remembrance or a memorial to the finished work Messiah has done. There has been a false belief for years that the Torah is done away with. I assure you, nothing could be further from the truth.

Question: Why in Judaism is it forbidden to write the names of God?
Answer: It is not actually prohibited to write the name of God, but many religious Jewish people shun lettering it out in ordinary exchanges where it might be unintentionally dropped on the floor to be stepped on, or taken into the toilet or otherwise subjected to disregard. This is why you often see forms such as "G-d" in Jewish papers. The full form of the Hebrew is used in Torah scrolls. You may already be aware that the original Hebrew is written without vowels. This is true of both Torah scrolls and modern Israeli books and newspaper. There is a system for representing vowels called 'pointing's' by means of small marks above and below the consonantal letters, but the books of the Bible as originally written did not contain these, they were added much later. Long before this Jews had ceased to pronounce the personal name of God in order to be certain they did not abuse it. When they encountered it in the text when reading aloud, they substituted the word "Adonai" which means Lord. There are about 133 places in the Tanahk where the Masoretes exchanged the correct spelling of YHVH for "Adonai". When they added vowel points to the Hebrew Bible, they wrote the vowel points for "Adonai" in the margin wherever the name YHVH was found. The name "Jehovah" is the result of erroneously combining the original consonants with the substitute vowels and spelling it out in Latin letters. We could learn much from the way many Jewish People have such great respect for their Bibles.
