Ape--I read all the post above. Help me out justa little. Work with me. Did you say you was going to vote for Lie mar or Did you say you was not going to vote for Lie mar? Is Jack Brown a member of the shitte clan? What ticket is he running on? What I said was...it depends. Jack Brown is a member of the Mac Shitte clan. The shitte's are German. The brown is getting deep here. Take a chill pill and call me in the morning. I'm interested in what the libertarian's point of view regarding pro-life... Libertarians for Life was founded in 1976 to show why abortion is a wrong, not a right. Our reasoning is expressly scientific and philosophical rather than either pragmatic or religious, or merely political or emotional. Politically, of course, our perspective is libertarian. Libertarianism's basic principle is that, under justice, each of us has the obligation not to aggress against (violate the rights of) anyone else -- for any reason (personal, social, or political), however worthy. The Libertarian Case Against Abortion To explain and defend our case, LFL argues that: 1. Human offspring are human beings, persons from fertilization. 2. Abortion is homicide -- the killing of one person by another. 3. There is never a right to kill an innocent person. Prenatally, we are all innocent persons. 4. A prenatal child has the right to be in the mother's body. Parents have no right to evict their children from the crib or from the womb and let them die. Instead both parents, the father as well as the mother, owe them support and protection from harm. 5. No government, nor any individual, has a just power to legally depersonify any one of us, born or preborn. 6. The proper purpose of the law is to side with the innocent, not against them. www.l4l.org/

Bornagain wrote, "these 2 parties need to grow up and stop treating us like mindless mushrooms... left in the dark...only feeding us BS..if either party walks up to my house soliciting a vote I'm going to sick my big dog on their ass !! That's one political promise the citizens of Union County can take to the bank...unlike anything these two parties tell us..."
Amen, that's what I'm talking about!

USC, I completely agree..."I completely respect those who worked hard and sacrificed things like fun, freedom and easy-ways-out in order to make themselves better."
Been there done that, however...

In the comic strip GET FUZZY in the sunday AJC. The dog and the cat are standing at a window sill looking at a slug. The dog says "eew...What is that?", the cat replies "I don't know the exact species, but it's got no spine. So it would be in Phylum Democrata." The dog replies "Ok, that's it. I'm sick and tired of--" the cat replies " HEY,HEY,HEY, I'm applying the scientific method here! It's spineless..it's blue... it's slow-moving, yet it leaves a layer of slime on everything it touches... I'm sorry, but in my book, that's a democrat!" As the dog leaves the room in anger the cat looks at the slug and says "it look sad! Why don't you tax my tuna and buy it some drugs?!"
any democrats in the room?

Ape- Bubbadebubba's posts, express my feelings. I don't think he likes Lie mar. I identify with him. I see no cognizant dissonance in his posts. While your posts reveal you exhibit loyalty to a publicly known liar. I don't see how you justify in your mind the opposing characteristics. Perhaps you could start a "loyality to liars" club and be it's president. you could find prospective members among the Union County Democrats. Sometimeman, I'm just not obsessed with Lamar Paris. Our thoughts draw the very things we are thinking into our life. I'm really very bored with this whole liemar is a thief thing. I make my decisions using data. Play your silly little Lamar Lied games. Everything coming into your life is the result of what you have been attracting to your life. If you say Lamar lied to you, I believe he lied to you. USC, I completely agree..."I completely respect those who worked hard and sacrificed things like fun, freedom and easy-ways-out in order to make themselves better." Been there done that, however... "It is a miracle that curiosity survives formal education. We should take care not to make the intellect our god; it has, of course, powerful muscles, but no personality." Albert Einstein My child just pointed out this post along with the comment "See, grades aren't as important as personality." My reply? One of the best things we can teach our kids is to differentiate between BS and Brilliance. Who do you want operating the laser when you need eye surgery - the doctor with the best grades or the one with the best jokes? If you get falsely arrested, who do you want as your attorney, a jerk who was top of their class or the one who was most loved in law school? In the Olympics, who wins, the one with the best training or the one with the best personality? Who should do your taxes, the best trained or most likeable? How often does the Crown Winner also take the Miss Congeniality award? Never. Its the same for teachers, politicians, carpenters ... you name it, its always the same. When there's a job to do, education and experience are basically all that matter. When the rubber meets the road, personality doesn't really mean very much. From what I've seen even the celebrities who are "personalities" don't really have much of one in real life. Except for very rare instances, the ones who last longest are the ones with the best training and experience. On the other foot, while I agree with 42USC, not everyone can be an expert at everything either. I cut my teeth with the #1 firm in the world and take a lot of pride at being one of the best M&A and Trust guys in the business. I can also hold my own against any advertising and campaign consultant in the country. But the last thing you'd want is for me to work on your car or fill a cavity in your tooth. Ok, I'm off of my soapbox.
