Glad to hear it. Now, if the Republicans get a good candidate, Lamar will be knocked off for sure. Even better if he has opposition in the Democratic Primary.

got it on pretty good authority tonight- Tony Dyer will run for commissioner. Sounds good, I still want to know what his position is on certain issues before I promise him my vote. But then again I'd vote for a dead possum before I'd vote for Liemar! |

Wranger ; A candidate will run on the republican ticket . He will be like no candidate ever before . A little will be said about the man at the bar b Que on Saturday . He will be a non traditional candidate that I believe will change politics in Union county. I think most people are ready for something better . This man will deliver .

Yes Gene Nelson is running, but what I don't understand is why he hasn't came out with a platform or something of the sorts. I sure hope the firefighters back the opposition for Lamar. The best opposition I have seen so far is Tony Dyer, but I know Gene and he a is good man.

Gene Nelson is a fine man, is he running as a republican or democrat? Doesn't say which ticket he will run on he wants all the citizens of Union County to vote, study the candidates and let your voice be heard....hmmmm. sounds kinda like the phantom to me... or will we be surprised after the reveal time will tell  Oh yeah, he asks for the community to pray for him, his family and the commissioner elect 2008 by the way he's also a deacon at the Mount Olive Baptist Church. |
