Why would Eddie attack Lamar Paris for no reason ? Why are all these people after Lamar ? Just today a 95 year young lady in K. F. C .was calling Lamar names I will not repeat , but the question is WHY , WHY , WHY , .

Has any of the other 158 counties in Georgia ever experienced such as what is going on in Union county ? What has Lamar Paris done to make so many people so mad at the man ?

1)Mr. Paris showed his behind by refusing to let the Union County Republican Party meet at the Union County Court House.
2) Mr, Paris sit up an LLC to circumvent state law and place debt on Union County Property holders.
3) Mr. Paris spent $150,000 more by taking the higer property reappraisal offer.
4) Mr. Paris lied about this and said he "saved" the $150,000.
5) Mr. Paris wrote slanderous letters about the republican partys appointment to the board of elections.
6) Mr. Paris lied about bringing alcohol to Union County.

Is there enough room in cyber space to list all the names of the people Lamar has called liars ? The Eddie that Lamar Paris is talking about does not lie , period . He is a truthful and honest man .

Well, Bluemoon does have a point. A lot of people say negative things about the commissioner. I am out there now and it is only fair that the commissioners opponents be attacked. And I am quite used to it already, less than two weeks after announcing. And it doesn't bother me at all to take all of the heat.

I must say that I have lots of clues. Some of them not yet revealed.

And I believe in Miracles and that Union County is due one.

And I am very blessed to have loyal supporters, most of them quietly staying behind the scenes.

The campaign is progressing very well and people are responding to the positive, proactive message I laid out.

In this time of recession, the government needs to lower taxes not raise them. This can be done by eliminating waste and pursuing alternative sources of income for the county.

What Would Jusitn Do to Lower Taxes? Also, what would you do to eliminate waste? What are the waste? What would Justin do to find alternate sources of income?

Contrary to the beliefs of the blairsvillecity town drunks, the current commish has implemented sound fiscal management. If you expect to get ahead in the game Justin, you have your work cut out for you.

Our current commishioner implemented SPLOST to offset property taxes for roads and bridges. What is SPLOST? It is an alternate source of income for the county. What are fees and building permits? They are alternate sources of income for our county. Is consumption tax pie in the sky? NO! SPLOST is a consumption tax for special projects. The commish is way ahead on ALTERNATE SOURCES of income? The question is therefore, HOW can Justin do it better? Did you not say, we the voters deserve the best? Give your best and we will judge.

To eliminate waste, first you must identify it. What I would like to see is government that is committed to increasing its accountability to taxpayers by identifying and eliminating processes or activities that waste public funds or resources.

I guess it is no real correlation to how many votes he will get in election 2008, but a whopping 80% of the people in UC voted YES for SPLOST! That's a peeeecular way to show our anger, don't you think?

I see, sometimer. If Justin wins, he can sit on his behind for four years and do nothing. I think we had that before Lamar was elected. Do you mind letting Justin tell us what waste will be eliminated? He is the one who is interviewing for the job.
