That's real smart thinking manape, "Republicans on a message board offended me so I'm not voting for republicans anymore" I personally vote for the man (or woman) and not the party. I have voted for democrats many times, heck I even voted for a libertarian once. You sure seem to be good at stirring the pot but if someone says something that you don't agree with you turn into a little crying babyape. I've got to give you credit for speaking up about what you believe though, our right to publicly disagree on certain issues is one of the things that makes the good ole us of a a great country.

We may not agree with each other on some things manape but I've got no beef with you. I agree with what you said about the other board. I used to post over there under a different name, there were two other posters who didn't like me and would attack me every time that I made a post. I'm glad this board is here so that we can make our opinions known even if those opinions aren't popular. I rarely even read that board anymore but since the new admin. came on board they seem to have stopped the personal attacks but they've censored the board so much that the members can't give their personal opinions on anything. I feel right at home here at blairsvillecity.com!

I'm just glad I'm not Justin Wight. It wasn't enough to kick him out of the Republic. They had to put him in front of the firing squad on the Frontpage. Justice is swift and harsh for anyone who crosses the Republic Party of Soviet Union County.

Dear Lord.. Manape, lol! You do not want to be put in the dungeon. Bless your heart.. you can stay in my neighbors back yard and as I said before, I will keep you away from harm and bang bang booms.. ok! As for Justin, or anyone else who has been plastered on the front page of the papers and ya step back and ask, now why is this on the front, and that is way back here.. ya catch my drift.. uh huh.. but.. I don't know any politician who hasn't made it to the front page of the paper or do I? I dunno.  Watched a movie the other nite where Robin Williams acted a comedian and went on to become president.. I sat there and thought.. he makes sense even tho its just a movie.. well.. it also made me look at my husband and say, this could happen.. it really could happen and thing is.. the plots of the movie made sense to me.. every bit of it. Not that it matters to anyone else what I think because I never really made my opinions over there, except that I thought it got down right dirty last election with the way some ran stuff and then I realized, thats how that works apparently.. but politicians do get targeted.. and if you do not want to be targeted and if you are not thick skinned, its not a very good choice to be into politics.. cause right or wrong, its gonna get turned around and if its the truth or not.. it is gonna be wide spread gossip at any rate. Front page, back page.. .coms, and as far as I have yet seen.. thats how that race goes.. and even if you're gone from it, you aren't. |

Fairydust, donkeys have been around a long time. Donkeys are even mentioned in the KJV Bible. I don't know about elephants, but I'm sure Noah had at least a couple of them. I'm not saying that there were Democrats in the Old Testament. I just know that Republicans have been riding Democrat's donkeys for a long time.
Republicans used to be Democrats, before they split from the Democratic party. The Conservative Democrats in Union County are really Republicans; they just don't know it. By this standard, you could say I am a Democrat-Republican. My daddy is a republican. Most of his brothers and sisters are democrats. I just don't want to be written out of my daddy's will. Manape just wants to keep peace in the family, if you catch my drift. My daddy doesn't even like Lamar much...I just try to avoid that subject around him.
I sure am glad I can vent here. I just hope I can keep 'doggin' those boom, boom, bams, and bangs. I don't know why I bother them so much. I don't even exist. Several people claim to have seen me, but this is a dry county. They must have been smoking that wacky backey again.
