Dang Coosa. We have some gorgeous lots with spectacular views for less than that. You didn't know me then.

We have one in the Helton Creek area, 3 around Ivy Log with long range views, one in the Sanctuary @ Vance Mt., some in Track Rock and ofcourse Old Birch Bend but OBB is mostly woods. My husband went land crazy after a local realtor got his claws into him. I would much rather just build, but at least we have some prime property if things ever pickup.

That's one of the reasons I like this house, coosa... a little weed wacker action now and then but NO mowing! I don't even own a lawn mower anymore!

I hope our next house will be like that. we have 2 acres of all grass! It looks nice, but it takes up what free time my husband has. I used to cut it but the lawn mower is too hard for me to take out and I don't do it as "perfectly" as he does.

I'm anxious to see how much work there will be in the areas that hunny underbrushed a few weeks ago. I am hoping that brush killer spray and the weed wacker will take care of most of it so it doesn't come back too fast!

So-so... there is some indication that things are picking up but it is a long way from being what it was a couple years ago!

Well, that is good news, winter time is always slow. I hope it never booms like it did 2 or 3 years ago. That was too many people moving in at one time!!

We are having a much easier time getting workers, so that is handy. Plus, we have some that will even work on Saturdays, like today!!

Gary had 3 calls asking for work, yesterday. One was from a builder. Too bad Wal mart won't hire local people to build their new store, but I know they won't. This slow down is starting to worry me!! Anyone else?

It has been worrying a lot of us for a while, coosa. With prices going up, up, up and incomes being stagnant or falling, it is harder and harder for people to make ends meet, let alone have extras. Heaven forbid there is some major expense come up, because it would surely mean financial disaster for a lot of people.
