also theres the dutch shoppe, owned by an verry nice lady. she speaks german too.

Wal-Mart this has it's pro's and cons although in the long run I belive that we will benefit from Wal- Mart coming to Blairsville.

I picked Bville cause it reminds me of the town my dad came from, and if you needed something from Wally World, then you drove to the next town and got it. We have to go to Murphy anyways for beer and liquor runs, so I just plan it then. If I need cheap crap that's what Dollar General and the Dollar stores are for. Everything else I buy is from local business. Heck, I still haven't eaten at Fatz yet!

Such a shame. The landscape was beautiful. Soon the view God gave us in that area will be gone forever.

WOW! You are so right about that and what about all of those mountain sides dotted with houses? I think we should have an ordinance limiting the number of houses in a specified area. Give me some junk and take those houses off the mountain sides.

Tulip, I am with you on Publix. There is one coming at the end of 400 and 60. I am so over Walmart. Cathy Lee was the only good clothing line they ever had for working wardrobe.
Realy do not want any further commerce in Blairsville. In fact I have the I am here, lock the door attitude about our mountain paradise. We searched long and hard to find a place this backward and conservative to move to, would love to see it endure. Even the Democrats here are good people.
