Bee, go to www.GeorgiaPacking.orgThere is lots of info here concerning CWP's. Maybe you can find something to help you out - I have NEVER heard of such a long delay! 6-8 MONTHS! Who are they kidding! When I got mne down here, it was in my mailbox in 12 days! That's 12 days after I filled out the paperwork and had the fingerprinting done.

Sure hope you get this straightened out. This kind of mess happens to me all the time. It's so hard to deal with stupidity. My first license did take several months but Cobb County is probably much busier. Good luck and keep us updated.

Just got a call from probate judge Brackett that all is fine with my paperwork it has evidently gone through and is OK, but that I was jumping the gun since I had only applied on the 17th and all that I am going through is the norm. I should hear from them in a couple of weeks. It's still at the jail and a stack of them will be brought over soon.
Got a strange vibe from the conversation, not sure what it was?
But hopefully I will have it soon.

I can't figure out why it takes several weeks to carry papers from the jail to the courthouse?
