I agree with Manape if you have paid into the system and you need to use it, then do that.
There is no shame, but don't make it a habit like a lot of folks do.
I don't have the verse and chapter right handy but the bible say's "live your life so that those who don't know God will come to know him because of you".

They 'system" was originally set up to help mothers with children whose husbands were killed in the war. Back in the old days, women did not work. My mother never had a job in her life until my father died. She was 48 when she got her first job. we could have gotten welfare, but she was too proud. Instead, we girls got jobs. I was 12.

Got a call from our grading guy, Tony. He is completely without work and getting worried. Gary called his father. Both of his brother's are tile setters, one owns his own company in florida. They have no work. One brother went to work installing countertops, the other has no job at all.

OK, Ms. Doom and Gloom, just remember they are not writing/talking about the 96-97% of mortgages that are NOT being foreclosed on, nor are the talking about those that are paid off.

I talked to Joan at the restaurant. They are going to have to raise the prices cause the price of food is going up. I sure can't blame them.

One out of every 194 homes went up for foreclosure this past quarter. The 4 hardest hit states are Nevada, California, Arizona and Florida.

Not tooting the horn, but we had a record breaking month in Mar & Apr. Guess there's a lot more people taking to the woods now. We're very thankful.
