I like all Walmarts just fine.. Goodys and other clothing dept. stores have crowded isles to where the clothes are trapping you IF you get through.

I know what you mean karma, I get claustrophobic if I go inside a Dollar General.

lol! Yep! Exactly... it has to be a heck of a dollar bargain for me to jump in there.heee~ You can call it lazy, you can call it gas saving.. but I am so close to Murphy Walmart and thankful for that.. that the only reason I go to any other one, is because I am already right there at it!lol I do agree tho, seems some walmarts have more than the others as far as selections.. usually when I go tho, I have a sole intention of purchasing what I need.. of course those crazy sale en-caps always gets me..lol! The Dollar General close by to me, has been heaven sent when it comes to needing Tide or Dawn.. stuff like that.. but lol! I know what y'all mean.. exactly about the clothing parts! Lord do I ever!

I know what you mean about the Dollar Stores. But Union Co. is lucky to have stores like the Sav-A-Lot. You can often find things there cheaper than at Wal-Mart. Now that there's a Wal-Mart in Dawsonville, the Kroger and Ingles are hurting, much less anything smaller. Wal-Mart is just about the only grocery store in Dahlonega.

Well, some things are OK for us.. I bought a 50 pd bag of potatoes.. most look OK till ya cut into them.. then you see that you get what you pay for.. most of the can items are good deals though. I will agree on that. Suit your fancy ... if it works for ya, I will shop there again. I will just skip the potatoes. I will still shop at any Wal Mart that is convenient too.

I heard somewhere that Cleveland is getting a super Walmart. Has anyone else heard that? Hope it doesn't effect our chances of getting one!

Hmmm, Lamar said last week in the NGN that Wal Mart actually hasn't purchased the property yet but will make a decision by September. That's exactly the opposite of the rumors that I have been hearing, a city council member told me that they had already bought the property. I guess we'll see!
