Adam and Eve were never married so wouldn't that make all of us illegitimate?
After all if a man and woman live together without the benefit of marriage it is considered a sin in today's society.

If all men were created of God then who where the "daughters of men" that the "son's of God" were taking up with?
Who were the "giants in the earth"?
Sarah was Abraham's 1/2 sister, they had the same dad. But yet that is wrong in today's society.

And if I live a good wholesome life and go to heaven and stand next to a serial murderer who accepted God at the last minute, will he be just as entitled as me?

Yes, the serial murderer will be just as entitled as you are to go to Heaven, if he has asked for forgiveness and accepted Christ as his Saviour.

Married as we know it is a invention of men.
From two came the whole family of men on earth. There had to be incestuous relationships.
Somehow it is easier to think of it occurring among siblings than parent and child?
The sons of God were those who gave heed to their creator. The daughters of men were those not concerned with God.
Giants were Large humans as would be John Wayne against a small Japanese

Now almost all things are purged by blood and without the shedding of blood there is no remission.
The blood from my veins can and will pay for my sins however, it will cost me my life because, it is written, the wages of sin is death. If I want to live, there none other name given among men whereby I must be saved.
The same is true for all, for those before the flood, for those living and for those dead.

Living a "good" life isn't enough. You cannot earn your way into heaven. You must accept the gift. Justin, I agree. Is the organized Christian religion that is practiced today really Christian? I agree that God didn't intend for our lives to be like the ancient Isralelites. Both the gospels and pre-Christian prophecies of the Messiah indicate that Jesus come to earth not to make adjustments to the law of Moses, but to establish a new and better relationship between God and humanity. Is it any wonder that people don't accept the free gift (a more loving relationship with God, forgiveness of sin, freedom from guilt, and freedom from the bondage of sin)?  Most of my Christian friends "go to church" out of guilt. Isn't it time to practice being the CHURCH and going to the lost? Modern Christians have made ourselves more descendents of the original Pharisees than of the wise apostles. We have become the Neo-Pharisees, preaching the law of Moses under the banner of Christ. I think Christanity has departed from the Christianity (THE WAY) of the New Testament of 2000-plus-years ago. It is an Old Testament religinon, as contained in Lebiticus and Deuteronomy. It appears pre-Christian at its moral core. It has been given a Christian flavor by carefully selected quotations from the New Testament. God described the new covenant in the following words: “I will make a new covenant with the house of Israel and with the house of Judah, not according to the covenant that I made with their fathers…” (Jeremiah 31:31-32a) The organized church has abused the teachings of Christ, transforming it into a tool of social conformity, sexual persecution, control, and mislabeled it as Christian discipleship. Let's get back to the Christianity of the New Testament (Sola Scriptura)... Sola scriptura (Latin ablative, "by scripture alone") is the assertion that the Bible as God's written word is self-authenticating, clear (perspicuous) to the rational reader, its own interpreter ("Scripture interprets Scripture"), and sufficient of itself to be the final authority of Christian doctrine. Sometimeman, you are really confusing me... What do you mean, "The blood from my veins can and will pay for my sins howerver...? Jesus Christ paid for out sins with His Blood, not ours, and not animal sacrafices. It is his blood for the remission of sins. |

In the old testament show and tell, the creature was (had to be) an innocent one. If it had been vicious, then it would have justified it's own death. If I don't accept Jesus blood. Then as the record says, mine is required. However in doing so, of course I don't survive!
Blood is required Ape, either mine or my saviors. The psalmist says he understood the fate of the wicked when he saw the sanctuary service. Sin is a bad thing Ape

My dear Ape when God was made flesh and walked among us he said, not one jot or one tiddle would pass until ALL was fulfilled. Let me ask you, has ALL been fulfilled?

Ape, do you accuse God of changing? Do you accuse God of having two plans of salvation? One for "his" people and another for the Gentiles.
Why as Gentiles, Ape, do we insist on having "first day" worship?
Why do we insist that God save us on our terms? Why do we not do as did the Moabite woman and say, where you lodge I will lodge, your people will be my people and Your God will be my God.
How do you get to be a "Jew"?
Even though she was a Mobabitess, did not she become a Jew?
Do we not follow the God of Abraham, Issac and Jacob?
Was not this the God that was made flesh and dwelt among us?
Is salvation not of the Jews?
