For there is no difference between the Jew and the Greek: for the same Lord over all is rich unto all that call upon him. For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved. How then shall they call on him in whom they have not believed? and how shall they believe in him of whom they have not heard? and how shall they hear without a preacher? KJV Romans 10:12-14

Ape I didn't respond to Short's List out of respect for him. The list is not names. The list is adjectives and titles that describe traits of the character of the man whose daddy was not a human. The man with inherent immortality. The God who loved enough to become a man. The God who gave the blood out of his veins for the salvation of his creation, for creatures to dense to comprehend his love. For creatures who gave away their gift of dominion to another lesser "god" Oh! he has a name Ape! He was named after his daddy.
"Finished" is a word used at Creation. "Finished" is a word used at the Crucification He had won back his creation. Those and that which he loved to much to let go.
You drinking at the wrong well Ape. You keep on getting thirsty.

Sometimeman, your problem with Catholic priest is not my problem. God will take care of it.
I see past the stained glass church that worships only on one day (Saturday or Sunday). Jesus has left the building, sometimeman.
You said you are a Christian. Welcome to my world, the new day church. Which day did you join Sometimemanape? Tell us your Story.
Do you converse with God and His people as you are doing right here, or do you sit in a pew to worship God? That is one place, but your church is also here on the Internet where you are connected to people who believe in the same GOD of Truth. Do you listen to three songs and a sermon. Do you call that worship?
My idea of worship is not looking at the backs of faceless people and hearing a lecture. Sorry, sometimemanape, if that is your church, don't expect see me there. Does the preacher forbid you to read any other version of the bible, except the KJV? Does he leap over pews? Is it a church of Jesus plus legalism or is it a church of a New Day of Grace and goodness because of Him, not our goodness. Sorry, sometimeman, I study other versions bible and I follow Jesus on all days of the week.
He gave us a gift of unconditional love. We are connected if you truly believe in the LORD-GOD. He is not the god of Islam.
If you are heavy laden, He will give you rest for He is the Sabbath. All your days are the DAY OF GRACE.

I think most of us can recite John 3:16 from memory.
Most of us Adults know how children are fathered. Now I want some body to tell me what the biblical us of the words "begat" and "begotton" are intended mean? Stuff like this don't fit inside my wifes head. Mental block you know. It bothers her to talk about it.
Talk to me about the "seed of the woman"? Where is them preachers when you need them? Was the virgin birth vaginal? Was it a "C" section.? Were they dirty diapers or were they huggies? How was the child fed, Paps or formula? Is your Christianity real or do you just pretend? Keep every thing nice and sanitary?
Do you understand the scorn of your neighbors hurt more than a nail through your hands?

Now there was a day when the sons of God came to present themselves before the LORD, and Satan came also among them. Job 1:6
You see now don't you, God has "sons" BUT, only one of them was begotten, Ya'll just an't gone talk to me about John 3:16 and that word begotten are you? What this means is ;this just will not fit in your brain will it? Ya'll don't like these questions do you?

I don't understand what you're asking sometimer? It doesn't matter, I'm firmly settled in my beliefs anyway and I don't plan on changing them. I think you are the same way also.

Short ,I think God "fathered" only one son though the scriptures indicate God has more sons. I think begotten means fathered

Genesis 6:2 the sons of God saw that the daughters of men were beautiful, and they married any of them they chose.
Genesis 6:4 The Nephilim were on the earth in those days—and also afterward—when the sons of God went to the daughters of men and had children by them. They were the heroes of old, men of renown.
